But even at 24 grand I think the Slingshot's a deal, because it offers a visceral open-air driving experience that you can't really get outside the Morgan 3 Wheeler, which costs more than twice as much and doesn't go nearly as fast. But there will be doubters. One friend, riding in the passenger seat, said, "I'd get one of these… after I had everything else."
